Hey guys! What's up? Well, I'll tell you what's up, this is the last post from my Parson's scholarship video series. If you haven't seen the video, click here and knock yourself out. This is the first look in the video and the final look I'll be posting on the blog so I'll make it short and sweet. The setting is my bedroom, the place where 'all the magic happens' (in my MTV cribs voice). I really dreaded doing this particular shoot because every time I attempted to make it happen something would go wrong, but yesterday all the stars seemed to align.
I love florals and fresh flowers and their ability to make the world a much more beautiful place. And for me these roses represent that being kind is one of the most beautiful acts that one can do. I was given these roses by a kind and beautiful woman at a store after she over heard me talking about how much I love fresh flowers. It was truly refreshing to experience an act of love and kindness coming from a complete stranger, so much so that I thought I would share it with you all. Sometimes I fear for this world and worry that people's hearts are growing cold but this woman assured me that the act of loving our neighbors as we love ourselves is still alive.
About the clothes... the light blue denim shirt is by Joe Fresh and the pencil skirt was sewn by me using imported Swiss voile lace and the bling was gifted to me from my mother.
I hoped you enjoyed getting a glimpse of my humble abode. As always, thank you for stopping by.
