From the bubbly to the briskets my birthday dinner at Two Urban Licks was, well let's say eventful. I never really have birthday dinners, I'm a go big or go home kind of girl and if I do something I like to go all out. Last year I did just that, I had a cute little soiree at Coze. But this year I just wanted to do some thing small and cozy, just an intimate dinner with friends and family. But my intimate dinner turned into a full on gathering of 20 plus people and ended with half my guests beefing with my waiter. Yeaaaaaah, it was quite the night.
But enough about that let's talk clothes. So I'm obsessing with this let's wear sleepwear/lingerie as actual clothes trend. You know the slip dresses, the bralettes, and the pajama-eque tops and bottoms. When I spotted this floral print "pajama set" from Topshop I knew I had to have it. I loved the colors in the print especially the blush pink. And I already had the perfect blush shoes stashed away in my closet that I bought from Zara a while ago. And to complete my I woke up like this style, I hopped in to Forever 21 for a black bralette and silver rings.
Aside from out little run in with our waiter, I actually like the restaurant Two Urban Licks. The food was pretty good, I loved the mac and cheese and the salmon chips. But the chicken was kind of dry to say the least, but I was warned in regards to the chicken. Plus the rule of the thumb is to never order chicken at a steak house, so i'll take that L with grace. The atmosphere was quite swanky. The glass kitchen was giving me major interior design goals. I know it's kind of late but I want to thank you all for the birthday wishes. I really appreciate it. I love love love you guys.
